In related news, I want to also highlight that the research that spawned PaperCube has lead to my Master’s thesis and two papers. First, Digital Library Visualization Using SproutCore and SVG, presented at SVG Open 2009. Second, Augmenting the Exploration of Digital Libraries with Web-Based Visualizations, presented at ICDIM 2009.

Today .Mac launched Web Gallery, a highly interactive photo sharing application on the web. Check out my gallery that I just put up. I have integrated it with my iPhone by creating a “Camera Roll” album that I can send images taken from my phone. Within seconds, the image is up and viewable by everyone.

I’d also like to recommend every to try out SproutCore, the open source javascript framework that we used to develop the application.
